Sustainable Package Design
This project is based on creating sustainable packaging that is made of anything but paper and can also be used for a secondary use. We wanted to create a wood box that was see through and opened up into a dollhouse/book nook that you could decorate and create as your own with having a holiday friend as well.
Design Concept
These packaging and products are designed to be gifted to people who may not be able to go home for the holidays, as this will give them something to do and a friend to have with them as well. It can also be used as decoration and comes with a light to help brighten up someone's room if they live alone and bring a little holiday cheer to hopefully make them feel good.

Box Design Process
After finding out what products we wanted and how we wanted to design the packaging we looked at surface graphics and found out which ones would be best for which box.
After we found the right images to represent our character and holidays, we began to use the laser cutter and cut out each piece of wood and plexiglass and then put the die cuts in the wood as well. We then glued everything together and made sure it worked properly before putting all the boxes and pieces inside of it.
